What change would you like to see?
Change doesn’t come easy.
You have to work hard for it. Push for it.
It’s all about wanting a better, a different tomorrow.

What challenges are you facing?
No additional comment required I think. You’re not a tree. Get up and move…
There’s a few things that Covid-19 Lockdown has taught us… in fact, it’s accelerated some things that were coming.
The evolution of the employee.
How we work.
And we’ve been able to evolve due to technology but also a shift in the mindset. A shift in thinking that is allowing us to add more value and be more productive.
Two examples I’d like to share,
That’s what it is about, right? – Learn, Think… Apply.
Would be great to hear example you may have, in terms of how you’re becoming an employee of the future…
Sometimes I can be impatient. I want to work on things quickly. Figure out if they work or not. Lean startup methodology type of thinking.
And today’s Friday thought comes to you with some humour…
This week, and indeed next week see many pupils return to school…. let’s all remember that each child is different and have their own values.
I remember Albert’s quote of, ‘if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it’ll always be a failure’.
We want our children to… Think differently.
We all make life choices. There’s a lot that goes on… and we have to make choices. Sometimes they are right… sometimes, we’ll get them wrong…. BUT, we should be conscious of the choices we make. Are they right… where will that choice lead us… and more importantly, the choice you make today, will you be proud of it in the future?
There’s a lot that will effective our choices, some motivate us… some just steer us down that path.
Just remember… you have a choice.
I remember a key thing that My friend James Caan (former Dragons Den) shared with me…. he said, ‘Bal… don’t always follow the crowd’.
It’s true. Should forge your own path. Make a difference. Do something new. Show the world a new way of working… just like how Tesla became the most valuable car maker in the world. By not following the crowd and the norm of the combustion engine.
I usually share a few ‘business’ related items on my social media… like how certain individuals didn’t give up, how some people really made good use of their entrepreneurial talent…. and how we continue to learn and evolve.
Today’s Friday Thought goes to those who have experience. Sometimes, it may not show immediately… but underneath… somewhere, there’s a plan… and it might be not evident to you – but it is to them!
It’s crazy when you look around, and the passionate ones are quiet or not as vocal as they used to be.
It happens. It’s worrying. I’ve seen it happen.
The passionate ones – lose the interest. Lose the motivation. Lose the will. Lose their mojo. They’ll apply their passion elsewhere. How’s your passion holding up for what you do?
More importantly… what you doing to keep hold of those passionate ones?
